iPhone

Period 2

The iPhone is very convenient.  It makes everything portable and simple.  It has a high tech camera on the front and back of the phone with zoom, flash, and video capabilities.  There is a new feature called FaceTime that is like a webcam chat on your phone.  So Simple!  It has internet that can be used almost anywhere you have service.  It’s very quick and easy to browse through.  When you have service, you can access the map/GPS[evhs3]  features on the phone.  There’s a calculator and a weather monitor as well.  The iPhone makes texting much less complex.  Instead of having to go back and forth from your inbox to your sent messages, your conversation between you and someone else is displayed all at once in an instant messaging format.  How convenient!  [evhs4] Its touch screen allows browsing through the phone much simpler.   You can keep all your photos and music on your phone.  You can also keep tons of music videos and movies as well.  You can purchase music and videos directly from your phone on the iTunes Store.[evhs5]   There is an app store as well, with thousands of apps.  You can access FaceBook and Twitter[evhs6]  almost anytime you want.  You also have e-mail that is easily accessible[evhs7] .
The iPhone is only nearly perfect though[evhs8] , as it does have some flaws.  The touch screen is a bit hard to get used to at first[evhs9]  and it’s quite easy to miss the letter you are trying to hit.  The moisture[evhs10]  tab in the bottom of the phone is very sensitive.  I kept my phone in the bathroom while I showered [evhs11] so I could listen to music, and the condensation from my shower built up over time and filled the moisture[evhs12]  tab causing my phone to be unusable[evhs13] .  It was very disappointing.  AT&T doesn’t always have the best service like they claim to have.  When you don’t have good service, phone calls, and anything on your phone that uses internet runs really slow or just doesn’t work at all.  The phone is also slowed down when you have too many apps running at once.  The battery doesn’t last very long especially when you make full use of all its functions.  Several times, while hanging with my friends away from home my phone has died and I’ve had to use my friend’s phone to let my Mom know what’s up.  It’s not like its really hard to do but I like to be able to use my own phone.  Another time, my friend had texted me something intense that should have had an instant response, but my phone died, making things more dramatic when I finally did text back.  They do have portable chargers and car chargers to correct this, but of course they are only useful when you actually have them on hand.
